Inspection Hours

BUILDING DEPARTMENT INSPECTION SCHEDULE

• Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30
• Please call (973) 331-3318 to schedule inspections  
• Please have permit number ready when you call for inspection.
  
• Please do not leave inspection requests on voicemail, as they will not be honored. 
• Inspection requests must be made at least 2-3 days before inspection is needed. 
• Township approved plans (if applicable) must be present at jobsite at time of inspection. 

• PLEASE NOTE:  Under State Law, Contractors should not ask for final payment & final payment should not be made until a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Approval is obtained.
