Welcome to the Montville Township Police Department
Montville Township is a New Jersey Civil service agency located in Morris County. The township is made up of three communities, Montville, Towaco and Pine Brook. According to the latest census, our population is 23,000 people. We provide 24 hour police protection 7 days a week, covering 19 square miles and approx. 119 miles of paved roadway. Our department currently boasts a compliment of 40 sworn officers. We provide emergency dispatch service for three fire departments in addition to the Montville Twp. First Aid Squad. Our dispatch center also serves as a Public Safety Answering Point staffed around the clock with civilian dispatchers.

Med Return Drug Collection Bin
Help put a stop to the abuse of household prescription drugs. If you have old prescription drugs lying around your household we have a safe place for you to discard them. Located in the Police Department Lobby is a GREEN MED Return box that you can safely deposit these unwanted prescriptions. Prescriptions can be dropped off 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
