[ARCHIVED] Property Owner Tree and Debris Removal

As the cleanup response continues for Winter Storms Riley and Quinn, we want to remind all of our property owners that any fallen trees or limbs from their property that are resting on sidewalks, right-of-ways, or hanging into the street are their responsibility to be removed as soon as possible. Brush shall be bundled and tied properly so that each bundle may be picked up and handled by one person.  No bundle shall exceed fifty pounds in weight, four feet in length, or two feet in diameter.  Individual branches shall not exceed four inches in diameter.  The Township’s contract for vegetative waste collection does not start until April 1.  Therefore, we are asking that you store those items you bundled correctly until April when the contract for vegetative waste collection begins.

As a reminder, the collection of vegetative waste is the same day as your first regularly scheduled solid waste pickup which is either Monday in Section One or Tuesday in Section Two.
