Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry Seeking Volunteers

Montville, NJ August 18, 2020 for immediate release.

The Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry, in operation over ten years, will remain open to serve those in need, during these difficult times. The Pantry is located at 91 Passaic Valley Road. Hours of operation are Thursdays, 4PM-6PM and Saturdays, 10AM-12Noon.

The Kiwanis Food Pantry is seeking volunteers for both the Thursday and Saturday hours of operation.

“Operating procedures have been altered in strict compliance with local health department guidelines.”  states Pantry Director Deane Driscoll. Regular clients and residents impacted by this situation, will be asked to stay in their cars upon arrival. Pantry volunteers will place prepacked bags of groceries near the client’s car. The client can load them and depart. Social distance will be strictly maintained between clients and volunteers, and between volunteers. 

For over 40 years, Montville Kiwanis has served the communities of Montville, Pine Brook, and Towaco. We remain committed to assisting our friends and neighbors during this time of grave uncertainty.
