[ARCHIVED] ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Class - January 23 and January 30, 2017

ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Class - January 23 and January 30, 2017

A certified food protection manager (CFPM) is responsible for monitoring and managing retail food establishment operations to ensure that the facility is operating safely and in compliance with regulations. Most retail food establishments that prepare and serve food must have at least one certified food protection manager on their staff. As a convenience to local area retail food establishments, the Montville Township Health Department is sponsoring this CFPM course in a convenient location and at a reduced rate. However, this course is open to all. The class will be held on January 23 and January 30 (you must attend both dates) from 9am to 5pm. The exam will be held at the end of the class on the 30th. The class will be held in the Montville Senior House at 356 Route 202 in Montville. The cost is $150 per student, and includes training by registered instructor, textbook, and proctored exam. The deadline to register has been extended to January 19, 2017. Because the materials and exams must be ordered well in advance, no walk-ins will be accepted. Class size is limited to only 35 seats, so please register as early as possible to secure your spot. Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, a confirmation email will be sent. If you have any questions, please contact the Montville Health Department at 973-331-3316.
