Montville Township students are encouraged to join Montville Township's 150th Anniversary poster contest. The contest launched, April 11th (Montville Township's 150th Anniversary) and will run until May 16th at 4:30 pm.

Contest is open to All Montville Township residents and students attending schools in Montville Township.
Paper: 12 x 18 white poster paper (supplied by student, or also available at the Municipal Building Recreation Department or at the Montville Township Library).
Media: Crayons, markers, pencils, chalks, paint or any similar medium. No 3-D items such as glitter, feathers, leaves, grass, etc. protruding from the poster board allowed.
Themes: a) What I like best about Montville
b) My favorite place in Montville
c) Growing up in Montville
Select one theme from above and be sure to write the theme on your poster. CHECK spelling!
Grade Categories: Grades K-2 Grades 3-5 Grades 6-8 High School
Directions: One poster per student. Student name, address, parent telephone number, e-mail, teacher, school, and grade MUST be provided on the back of the poster.
Awards: There will be first, second, and third place awards for each grade category. Posters will be judged on creativity, imagination, and theme.
Deadlines: Submit posters to the Municipal Building Recreation Department, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, beginning April 11th and ending May 16th at 4:30 p.m.
Judges: Montville Township Committee, Historic Preservation Review Commission, and other Community Leaders. Winners will be announced in early June.
Prizes: Winners will be invited to participate in the 4th of July parade on June 24th. ?
First prize - wrist band for carnival rides ?
Second prize – carnival ride tickets ?
Third prize - food voucher to a vendor
